Up until recently, the world knew Chase N. Cashe solely for his phenomenal production work. This year, however, he’s been focusing a lot of his time on rapping, which has proven rather fruitful for the New Orleans native. Today, he returns to his production side on an instrumental mixtape entitled Via.

A twelve track offering, Via finds Cashe exploring a number of different sounds and styles and showcasing his versatility. The second track, “Man Of Words,” samples Aloe Blacc’s “The Man” (itself an interpolation of Elton John’s “Your Song”), but other than that, there’s not too many recognizable samples on this one.
